I am a cake-loving, beach-reading, mountain-climbing writer who has somehow found herself living in the city of Seattle working as a data analyst for a market research firm. When I’m not off adventuring with my husband and son, I enjoy writing fantasy, sci-fi, and fiction novels to let my passion for the fantastical run free across the page. Running, experimenting in the kitchen, and traveling are also at the top of my hobby list, as well as volunteering with a variety of foundations dedicated to education and female empowerment.
Professionally, I work as a Quantitative Market Researcher for Conjointly and analyze survey data, pricing models, and simulations to inform product decisions. In addition to overseeing the development of product and pricing studies in the CPG, retail, pharma, and Business-to-Business (B2B) sectors, I enjoy wrapping a story around data and digging through numbers to discover impactful insights. Connect with me on LinkedIn! I am also a Master's student in Northern Illinois University's Education Research, Evaluation, and Assessment online program. One day soon, I hope to guide school districts, tech companies, and educational services organizations as they untangle the mysteries of student success and enact meaningful change in the field of education.
Previously, I worked as the Manager of Research Data & Operations at Aberdeen Strategy and Research where I collected data and wrote research reports, knowledge briefs, eBooks, and other content to educate B2B technology buyers. You can view some of my public-facing research published under my maiden name on the Aberdeen website.
I am constantly looking for ways to merge my interests in writing, STEM, and education. Check out my qualifications below and the rest of my website to see how I’m working to do so.
